So yeah, I went back to Bedok FCC to take my IPPT for 2011. The weather was gloomy but thankfully it didn’t rain, YEAH!!!
Bedok FCC used to be my second home and there were so much memories from that place. Being the first FCC to implement the electronic IPPT system, we had lots of work to do.
Although cleaning was not part of our jobscope, I remembered clearly how one particular encik made us cleaned the toilet. Yes, the toilet. Just once and that was because some big shot was coming. Oh well… those were the days…
Anyway, I suddenly realised that the PTIs were quite cocky – super cocky. That was exactly how I was like N years back. My mentality was that NSmen are lazy to train and that is the reason why so many couldn’t pass.
Now, after working for a while, I realised many NSmen want to exercise but have no time. Because of this reason, failing their IPPT is something that they have come to accept.
No time is definitely not a good excuse but we should make an effort to work out whenever possible. Get Active, Stay Healthy!
