Project Blue WaVe is launched on 4 October 2014
Project Blue WaVe is an initiative by the PA Water Venture. The main aim to raise awareness on environmental issues and encourage Singaporeans to take care of our environment.
200 participants cleaned up the Pasir Ris Park while 100 participants got on to kayaks and cleaned up Sungei Api Api.
The message is clear: Singapore is our home and we should take care of it ourselves by not littering and destroying the nature habitats of our wildlife.
There is so much we can do and hopefully, more people will join us to do a part for the environment.
*It rained so heavily that we had to rush back to shore but that didn't dampen our spirits.

Outing with the Wheelchair bound Seniors!
I have been doing this for a while. It is really meaningful to see that the seniors enjoying themselves. Being wheelchair bound, many seniors in Tampines don't get to travel beyond the neighbourhood.
For the outing this time, we will be heading to the Resorts World Sentosa via the Sentosa Boardwalk. Then we will stop at the Sentosa Merlion for a tea break and some games.
Click here to get more information and/or to RSVP!
It may not mean anything to us but it means a lot to them.

Ohhhh…. Oasia Hotel
The Club room comes with the Club benefits and that means we get to access the Living Room aka the Club lounge from 7am – 11pm, coffee, tea and soft drinks all day long.
From 6pm – 8pm, we tried out the cocktails and the canapé, also at the Living Room. Not much of a choice for the canapé but the drinks selection was not bad. I tried the Milky Dreams and the Oasia Bliss.
The weights room and the swimming pool are located at the 8th level but there is another swimming pool next to the Living Room, yup, specially for the guests staying in the Club room - an infinity pool and a Jacuzzi next to it.
The view of the MacRitchie Reservoir is pretty awesome and the skyscrapers of the Marina Bay could be seem as well (but you will need to move yourself around).

I WAS THERE
Source: Samsung Mobile Singapore Facebook Page
I was lucky enough to be selected for the inaugural edition of the ‘I WAS THERE’ by Samsung Mobile Singapore. I spent an evening at the BistroBar by Da Paolo, enjoyed the food and played with the latest offering by Samsung Mobile Singapore, ie the Samsung Galaxy Camera!
The Samsung Galaxy Camera has a 4.8” touch screen and it operates on the Android Jellybean 4.1.1. Yes, you hear right, it operates on the latest version of the Android OS. It is even possible to connect via 3G or Wifi and then upload the photos straight away to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter!
And the camera comes with many special modes and my favourite one got to be the ‘BEST FACE’. When this mode is selected, the camera takes 5 photos and then you can select the best picture of each person and then merge them into one photo. That simply means that, we don’t have to worry about unglam photos where people closed their eyes at that click of the camera.
I am actually thinking of getting this camera for my trip to Japan, Cambodia and Thailand. The special modes seem to satisfy my requirements and take the kind of photos that I like. Oh and the 21x optical zoom is pretty amazing and I can take clear photos from a distance away. Cool, huh.
For a more detailed review on the Samsung Galaxy Camera, you may want to go to CNET!
