Adequate heel cushioning can prevent heel spurs and sufficient shock absorption can decrease the risk of lower leg stress fractures and lower back pain. Therefore, it is important to get the right shoe to minimise the risk of injury.
Mizuno works best for me but not necessarily for you. It is important for runners to try out the shoes before buying them. Try to walk or jog around the shop (if possible) to test them out.
